Dr Kevin Osborn
Dr Kevin Osborn is a co-founder of Garran Medical Imaging (GMI), a new Canberra medical imaging practice established to provide services not currently available in Canberra. Together with Dr Iain Duncan, he will deliver a personalised and progressive medical imaging experience in close co-operation with referring doctors. Kevin is passionate about improving patient outcomes.
A University of New South Wales degree preceded general medical and surgical training for Kevin who ultimately decided to pursue a career in medical imaging. His radiology training was at Canberra Hospital with paediatric experience at the Sydney Royal Children’s Hospital. He also undertook further subspecialty training as a neuroradiology fellow at the Royal Perth Hospital.
Since 1994, Kevin has worked in both public and private healthcare systems in Canberra and regional New South Wales. He has extensive experience in general x-ray, CT and ultrasound however his principal area of expertise is magnetic resonance imaging, a modality he has been involved with for over 20 years.
Kevin’s experience covers all facets of MRI including head and neck imaging, neuroimaging, musculoskeletal imaging, body and oncological imaging. Kevin is an enthusiastic adopter of new technologies and looks forward to pushing the limits of the advanced equipment now available at Garran Medical Imaging.
